The Master of Project Management (MPM) programme, available through the APEL.Q pathway, is designed for experienced professionals seeking to formalise their expertise in project management or transition to a career in this field. Geared towards industry practitioners, this programme focuses on developing practical problem-solving abilities, sound management judgement, and effective decision-making skills.

Through APEL.Q, students are assessed based on their prior experiential learning, allowing them to demonstrate the skills and knowledge gained through work experience.

This programme is particularly suited for project managers, supervisors, engineers, and project directors from various sectors, including public organisations, NGOs, ministries, banks, consulting firms, and entrepreneurial ventures.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

The following briefly describes the APEL.Q processes for this programme:

Self-assessment – To ascertain eligibility for the programme, all APEL.Q prospects* are required to undertake this exercise.

Registration – Eligible prospects are invited to register as OUM learners.

APEL.Q Assessment – Learners will undergo the following assessment components:

  • Portfolio
  • Field and Validation Visit
  • Challenge Test
  • Capstone Courses
