About APEL
 and APEL Centre

APEL is short for Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning. It is an initiative of the Malaysian Qualifications Agency to develop the country’s human capital by promoting higher education for working adults and supporting lifelong learning.

The APEL Centre is a unit within OUM. It is located at the OUM HQ in Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya. We coordinate our efforts with OUM faculties and learning centres nationwide to support prospective and registered OUM learners through the APEL.A, APEL.C and APEL.Q processes.
